MannKrafted Monday: The Longneck Rattler

The putter for today is one that was crafted a while ago, but spent time in the rotation for a mini tour player who is a home town, Phoenix player, Tommy Medina.   He plays the Pepsi Tour, Gateway Tour, a Nationwide when available and a good number of the state pro/ams in the region.

The putter was made using a Byron-designed Hi Beam hosel and a handmilled 1018 carbon steel “RATTLER” head design.  I was in a trio sort of mood, so this one got the triple logos in the cavity and three site lines on the flange.  I kept the stamping to a dull roar with only the name of this rascal on the bumpers, nothing more.

It has a little toe hang and tips the scales at 355 grams.  The finish is a split matte/satin black oxide and shows just a little wear from being played for a few months.

Check it out and just so you know, this one is available to go to a new home.  Email me if you have interest in a putter that has seen mini tour play and needs only to be gamed.
